Free, Family Friendly Entertainment on Thursdays and Select Tuesdays at 7:00 pm, and Sundays at 4:00 and 7:00 pm
In Minot’s Oak Park with Featured Visual Artists Each Night

June:

2 – Kickoff! – Karaoke and Badlands Express, with live painting from Carissa Nalley
6 – Vanity Plate, with featured artist Arvin Davis from LRL Studios
~Vanity Plate is a local indie rock band sure to liven up the park on Thursday night
9 – City Band, with featured artist Breanna Ware, and partnership with the YWCA*
11 – Jessie Veeder
~Jessie Veeder is a country singer/songwriter from Watford City who recently won the
Governor’s Award for individual achievement in the arts.
13 – Chloe Marie Music, with live painting by Mary Kay Reitmeyer
~Minot teenage music sensation Chloe Marie returns to Arts in the Parks to delight
audiences.
16 – City Band, with featured artist Akiera McPherson, and partnership with the Ward County Historical Society*
~Akiera is a talented 13-year-old artist excited to show off her talents in the park.
18 – International Brass Quintet, with live painting from EJ Rose
20 – City Band, American Legion 100th Birthday Celebration, with featured artist Denise Matson
23 – Songbirds of North America, with featured artist Wendy Kimble, and partnership with Minot Symphony Orchestra*
~Folk duo Songbirds of North America is another new face to Arts in the Parks that will
entertain audiences this summer.
27 – Voices of Note
30 – City Band, with featured art activity from Nature’s Nook

July:

2 – The Jensen Sisters, with featured artists from 62 Doors
~The Jensen Sisters are excited to make their return to Arts in the Parks this summer.
7 – JMB Band, with featured artist Patricia Marquardt
11 – Cool Beans, with live painting from Aaron Michels
~Jazz duo Cool Beans will be a cool addition to a hot summer evening.
14 – City Band, with featured artist Steven Holmes
18 – City Band Sousa Concert, with featured artist Hannah Auer
21 – Daniel Starks, with featured display from Mouse River Players
~Young local talent Daniel Starks makes his Arts in the Parks debut this summer.

25 – It Was Her Idea, with featured artist Arvin Davis from LRL Studios
~An eclectic mix of musical entertainment from It Was Her Idea will fill the park.
28 – Minot First Church

August:

1 – Dakota Drifters, with featured artist Britton Kimble
4 – Wild Hands, with featured artists from Suite 1 Gallery, and partnership with the Domestic Violence Crisis Center*
6 – Rinat Mouzafarov Institute of Dance and Ballet, with featured artist Tim Knickerbocker
~A step apart from your typical musical concert, enjoy a dance performance from the Rinat
Mouzafarov Institute of Dance and Ballet.
8 – Soulshine, with live painting from Katie, and art activity from the Minot Public Library
~Rock the night away as we close our summer with Soulshine.

 

*Sunday partnerships with the YWCA, Ward County Historical Society, Minot Symphony Orchestra, and Domestic Violence Crisis Center will include volunteers from each organization with donations from that evening’s performance being split between MACA and the partnering organization.
